Modern Slavery Statement
Modern slavery is a term used to describe the crimes of holding a person in a position of slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour or human trafficking (facilitating a person’s travel with the intention of exploiting them soon after). These crimes exist across the world, including the UK.
The International Labour Organisation (ILO) estimates that there are 27.6 million people in forced labour across the world, 63% in the private economy.
At Coreteam, we are committed to combating modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. We recognize our responsibility to uphold human rights across our operations and supply chains and strive to act ethically and transparently in everything we do.
Coreteam is a Group of Private Limited Companies (Coreteam Limited, Corete4m Limited), the business is based in 2 main sectors: Recruitment and Consultancy Services. Our staff work directly with out clients, providing services remotely and are based across the globe (UK, EU, Asia, US). We provide our services globally.
Our Commitment
Modern slavery, which includes slavery, forced labour, human trafficking and child labour, has no place in our business or supply chains. We are dedicated to ensuring that our operations are free from exploitation and that everyone involved in our supply chains is treated with dignity and respect.
Our Actions
To uphold this commitment, we are implementing the following measures:
Risk Assessment and Due Diligence: Conducting regular assessments to identify and mitigate risks of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains.
Supplier Code of Conduct: Requiring all suppliers and contractors to comply with our ethical standards, including a strict prohibition of forced labour, child labour and trafficking.
Employee Training: Providing training to employees to help them identify and address potential risks of modern slavery.
Reporting Mechanisms: Establishing confidential channels for employees, suppliers and stakeholders to report concerns about modern slavery or unethical practices.
Legal Compliance
We adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and are committed to full transparency in our efforts to prevent exploitation.
