Who We’re Looking For

The is an exciting opportunity for an Operations Analyst to join a growing organisation and play a key role across HR, Finance and business operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes and coordinating across multiple teams. You’ll work closely with HR, Finance, managers and external providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while helping build scalable processes that support continued business growth.

The Role

As an Operations Analyst, you’ll support the day-to-day administration and reporting across HR and Finance, ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational efficiency. The role combines finance administration, HR operations, reporting, systems management and process improvement, with opportunities to take ownership of projects and improve how the business operates.

Role Responsibilities

Finance Support:
• Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Review and process employee expenses accurately and on time.
• Support customer invoicing and sales ledger activities.
• Assist with cash collection and debtor management.
• Support month-end reconciliations across purchase and sales ledgers. • Maintain accurate financial data across Sage and other business systems.

HR Operations
• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment, system access and induction activities.
• Maintain and monitor employee records, probation periods, annual leave, sickness and mandatory training.
• Support performance reviews, salary reviews, promotions, bonuses and employee changes.
• Prepare regular HR reports, people analytics and workforce data.
• Support HR policies, documentation and employee engagement initiatives.
• Work with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes.

Operations & Reporting
• Build and maintain HR and Finance dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Analyse data such as headcount, costs, budgets and recruitment metrics.
• Support audits, system implementations, policy rollouts and other operational projects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational documentation. • Identify trends, gaps and opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Process Improvement
• Review existing processes and recommend practical improvements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative activities.
• Support the implementation of new systems, tools and workflows. • Help create scalable processes as the organisation continues to grow.

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in HR, Finance, Operations, Business Administration or a related analytical role.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and confidence working with data and reports.
• Experience using HR, Finance or business management systems; Sage experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when handling financial and employee data.
• Good understanding of basic HR and finance processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across HR, Finance and Operations.
• Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Proactive, organised and adaptable, with a willingness to take ownership.
• Experience working in a startup, scale-up or fast-growing organisation would be advantageous.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
