The Role
We’re seeking a Senior Workday Financials Consultant to join our expanding Finance Practice. This is a hands-on functional consulting role for someone with deep expertise in Workday Financials capable of designing robust, scalable solutions, not just configuring them. In the near term, you’ll support a portfolio of AMS customers, focusing on optimisation, stability, and continuous improvement. As our implementation pipeline grows, you’ll play a key role in project delivery and workstream ownership. This position offers a clear pathway toward lead responsibility, including mentoring consultants and helping scale our Workday Financials capability across regions.
Role Responsibilities
• Own and deliver Workday Financials workstreams across AMS and implementation engagements
• Translate business requirements into scalable Workday Financials solution designs
• Lead client workshops, requirements gathering, and functional design sessions
• Configure and optimise core Workday Financials modules in line with best practice
• Drive proactive improvements across live customer environments, not just reactive support
• Partner with Integration and Reporting teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity
• Provide functional leadership and guidance to junior consultants
• Manage senior finance stakeholders and maintain strong client confidence
• Support post go-live optimisation, enhancements, and roadmap discussions
• Contribute to delivery standards and Financials practice maturity
• Translate business requirements into scalable Workday Financials solution designs

Skills
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials implementation and/or AMS experience within a consulting or multi-client environment
• Proven ownership of Financials workstreams end to end, from requirements and design through configuration and deployment
• Strong functional depth in at least one core finance flow: Procure to Pay (P2P), Record to Report (R2R), or Order to Cash (O2C)
• Solid configuration experience across key Workday Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Customer Accounts/Billing, Banking and Settlement, Expenses, and Business Assets
• Experience supporting multi-country finance solutions and working directly with finance stakeholders
• Nice to have exposure to Accounting Center, Strategic Sourcing, Prism Analytics, Financial Reporting, and Financials-related integrations
• Proven ownership of Financials workstreams end to end, from requirements and design through configuration and deployment
