The atmosphere at Workday Elevate London 2025 was nothing short of electric. Held at the iconic InterContinental – The O2, this year’s event carried extra significance as it marked Workday’s 20th anniversary, a milestone that added a celebratory note to an already packed agenda. From cupcakes and AI-generated Rockstars of Business portraits to compelling keynotes and success stories, the day captured the dual spirit of innovation and community.
Coreteam was proud to be part of the experience, with Principal Consultant Charlotte Green representing our team on the ground, engaging with partners, clients, and friends from across the Workday ecosystem.
Key Themes: AI, Agents & Empathy
Artificial Intelligence in HR, generative tools, and agent-led innovation took centre stage. The keynote from Kathy Pham, Michelle Dawkins, and Jerry Ting introduced Workday’s new Illuminate Agents, a leap forward in simplifying hiring, financial operations, and frontline experiences.
Sessions throughout the day highlighted everything from skills-based planning and pay transparency to the evolving convergence of HCM and Financials within an AI-native architecture.
As Charlotte noted:
“AI and automation are becoming integral. And now human connection, communication and collaboration are of utmost importance.”
That sentiment was echoed by closing speaker Louis Theroux, who reminded the audience that trust, vulnerability, and empathy are as critical as any emerging technology in shaping the future of work.
Coreteam’s Presence: Sharing, Connecting, and Growing
For Charlotte, Elevate offered more than a front-row seat to the latest announcements, it was a chance to reconnect, share, and exchange ideas.
“It was brilliant to catch up with customers I’ve partnered with over the years, meet new faces, and highlight the full breadth of our capabilities.”
There were also discussions including post-deployment support, Workday AMS, and optimisation strategies. There was strong interest in how Coreteam supports organisations well beyond go-live, a chance to broaden understanding of our role across review-and-recommend, advisory, and ongoing enhancement.
These interactions served as a reminder: while technology evolves, relationships remain at the heart of progress.
Beyond Transactions: Building Businesses Through People
One of the most meaningful threads running through the day was the importance of people-first thinking. Charlotte embodied this mindset throughout.
“It wasn’t about business cards or ticking boxes. It was about catching up with people I’d shared real journeys with, celebrating those moments and opening the door to what comes next.”
At Coreteam, we believe in building businesses through people, by supporting systems , filling roles, and enabling growth through genuine connection. All conversations are a chance to listen, understand, and support. It is how we evolve our services to meet the real-world needs of the Workday community.
Bringing the Elevation Mindset to Conversations
Another powerful takeaway was how naturally the ideas behind the Workday Elevation Hub™ emerged in conversation, as a shared mindset.
Whether with partners discussing client longevity, or customers exploring next steps in their Workday journey, common themes kept resurfacing: confidence in scaling, navigating complexity, and aligning for lasting value.
As Charlotte shared:
“It was about exchanging ideas and recognising familiar challenges.”
These discussions reflected what the Elevation Hub represents being present, being practical, and helping organisations see what’s possible when the right support is in place.
A Birthday to Remember – and a Rockstar Moment
Of course, Elevate had its lighter moments. From birthday cupcakes marking Workday’s 20 years to the fun of AI-generated ‘Rockstars of Business’ portraits, the event struck a balance between celebration and substance.
Charlotte and long-time contact Kevin Isaac had their own portraits created, “as you’ve never seen them before!”
Final Reflections
As Charlotte succinctly put it:
“The energy was amazing. Whether it was connecting with previous customers, vetting potential future opportunities, or just basking in the shared passion for shaping what’s next, Elevate was a celebration of why the Workday community is so strong.”
We are honoured to have been a part of an event that got Workday consultants, customers, and partners together in such powerful ways. Whether you were there for the tech, the connections, or the cupcakes, it was a day to remember.
